Building the Acumatica Master Implementers Program: Learnings from Our First Workshop Series

Earlier this year, Acumatica introduced its new Master Implementers Program, through which experienced ERP consultants can easily access and work in Acumatica’s rapidly growing ERP ecosystem—gaining new projects and accelerating their career growth. This program is instrumental in strengthening the technical skills resources of Acumatica’s vibrant and growing partner ecosystem as we leverage the experience and expertise of seasoned and skilled technical implementers to meet the growing demand for modern cloud ERP solutions.

To kick off this program, Acumatica hosted three workshops that took place in April in Westerville, Ohio. The workshops were directed by industry-leading Acumatica consultants, who shared the latest best practices through demonstrations and hands-on learning.

This Acumatica ERP training was a valuable experience for both the consultants attending the sessions and the experts leading them. We came away with positive and constructive feedback that will help us continue to shape the Master Implementers Program, bring experienced technical experts into the Acumatica ecosystem, and inform how we conduct our next workshop—which will take place September 16–19 in Denver, Colorado. Acumatica is expanding this second workshop by offering four courses on Construction; Manufacturing; Distribution; and Reporting, GI, and Business Events.

Positive Responses and Feedback from Attendees

We surveyed participants for all three courses at the April workshop—Manufacturing; Construction Boot Camp; and Reporting, GI, and Business Events—seeking their input and feedback on the value of the courses. For the Manufacturing session, 100% strongly agreed that the course achieved the stated learning objectives and met their expectations for learning. 76% felt the quality of the content was excellent. The results for the Construction and Reporting, GI, and Business Events sessions were positive as well, with nearly all participants strongly agreeing or agreeing on the success of the course in meeting the stated objectives, meeting their learning expectations, and providing content of excellent quality.

The predominance of “excellent” and “strongly agree” in these results was further validated by the positive comments that accompanied the ratings:

“Great workshop week! I feel enhanced with new knowledge.”

“I enjoyed the class and the instructors. I felt they were very knowledgeable and gave good examples to help me understand the software at least at a base level. I know I have much more to learn, but I have a good foundation to work from.”

“I am so pleased with the instructors for this course. They handled the information so well and really encouraged participation. I learned so much and really enjoyed getting to know everyone.”

“Overall, the instructors were awesome.”

Steps for Moving Forward

Attendees also gave us some constructive feedback, which we will be using to inform how we push the Master Implementers Program forward and how each workshop is structured to best serve everyone. These helpful points, relating to time, structure, and presentation, will be incorporated into the next workshop to help improve the overall participant experience.

Conclusion

Acumatica Master Implementers Program is off to a great start, and, based on the feedback we’ve received from our workshop attendees, we’re already taking our newest ERP workshop series to the next level. to join us at our next workshop in September to see firsthand what all those “strongly agrees” were talking about.

In the meantime, read more about the Master Implementers Program and get additional insights from Acumatica community members, or contact Alex.Sayavong@acumatica.com  if you have any questions about the program and what joining the Acumatica ecosystem can do for you.
