Acumatica Summit 2025 Delivers the Ultimate Partner Experience

 

With Acumatica Summit 2025 (January 26-29) fast approaching, I wanted to take a moment and personally invite Acumatica partners—whether prospective, new, or seasoned—to join me for this one-of-a-kind Community experience. It’s where thousands of Acumatica partners, customers, creators, and team members can renew business and personal relationships, learn from business leaders and technology experts, and take a deep dive into the features, functionality, and benefits of our premier cloud ERP solution.

As SVP of Programs & Strategy, I’m responsible for communicating how partnering with Acumatica and our radically democratized ecosystem can transform Value Added Reseller (VAR) businesses from just getting by to full-on thriving—and the best way to do this goal is by gathering as much of our industry-best partner ecosystem to attend Acumatica Summit 2025.

Acumatica Summit 2025: Educational, Fun, and Heart-felt

Our Summit is an educational experience filled with visionary keynotes, informative sessions, and valuable networking opportunities. But unlike other companies’ dry—dare I say—uninspiring events, our annual Summit cultivates an atmosphere of fun and heart-felt connections that allows you to unwind, shake off the daily pressures of life, and enjoy the community experience.

As Acumatica’s Jim Desler, VP, Communications, explains, we work hard to create “a valuable and productive environment for attendees that is optimal for planned activities and learning experiences alongside spontaneous discovery and connections.” And a critical part of our planning is asking for attendees’ feedback to find out what’s working, what’s not working, and what we need to do to improve.

Here’s what Acumatica partners told us to do to make Acumatica Summit 2025 a success:

Bring Back the Partner Reception

According to an overwhelming majority of last year’s partner attendees, the Partner Reception on Sunday night—which was added last year—is a keeper. New, prospective, and international partners had ample opportunity to chat with Acumatica executives and partner teams about why they should invest their time and money into—and stake their reputation on—Acumatica, and we’re bringing this reception back again this year.

Keep the Partner Day

Like the reception, the full day we dedicated exclusively to partners last year was also a big hit. So, we’re once again committing Monday and Tuesday as the days partners can connect with customers and prospects as well as get acquainted with Acumatica’s new, recently launched Professional Services Edition. Then on Wednesday, partners can select to attend one of six partner tracks (in three one-hour segments) designed to advance their cloud ERP knowledge baseline throughout the course of the year. Though theoretically the same as last year, the level of interactivity and topical depth take these sessions to a whole new level.

Make the Partner Networking Forum Available Again

Our partners also praised last year’s Partner Networking Forum (PNF), and we’re bringing it back again this year taking place Thursday, right after Summit. This partner-led, partner-only event will be available to VAR business owners who complete the Practice Owner workshop. Attendees can anticipate the same level of creative energy as last year as they share innovative business strategies with each other and hear from the Acumatica executive team about how we’re responding to partner-requested updates.

Offer Additional Awesome Activities

Finally, we heard from Acumatica partners that we needed to continue offering our:

  • Highly popular Hackathon, which is open to developers and non-developers and pits teams against each other as they try to create a unique application on the Acumatica platform in about a 24-hour period.
  • Informative, forward-thinking Keynote Presentations that offer insights into our product roadmap while celebrating the Acumatica Community.
  • Acumatica Marketplace, which teems with hundreds of ISVs exhibiting their state-of-the-art, third-party applications that offer real-world value.

Additionally, our Welcome Reception, Morning Yoga, Fun Run, and Closing Reception events earned high marks from partners, while our highly anticipated Celebration Dinner & Party received the most votes for its enjoyment factor as well as its invaluable networking opportunities

Spreading Love, Growing Community, and Fostering Success at Acumatica Summit 2025

Earlier, I mentioned our radically democratized ecosystem. This simply means that, at Acumatica, we believe every community member should have access to our executives, policies, and programs and should have a say in every decision we make. It’s called being a community-led company that puts relationships first, and this belief is nowhere more apparent than at Summit.

“These relationships grow organically at Summit when attendees, without prompting or guidance, meet the right people at the right time. This happens, for example, during the follow-ups after Breakout Sessions, where attendees and Acumatica experts connect, continue conversations, and share and solve business questions,” Jim writes. “Other opportunities for relationship building come during breaks and meals, when attendees, in a more informal, relaxed setting, can easily reach out and create lasting bonds.”

Our mission is to infuse the love and respect we have for our community directly into our cloud ERP solution, and by doing so, help our partners and customers succeed on their own terms.
