New Strategic Partnerships, AI Innovations and Product Vision Highlighted at Community Event

Las Vegas, NV. – January 27, 2025Acumatica CEO John Case opened the company’s annual Summit today by rallying developers, partners and customers to leverage the latest AI-enabled innovations to spur elevated business performance and long-term success.

“When I speak with customers and partners, what stands out is the importance of performance,” said Case. “At Acumatica, we constantly ask ourselves how we can help our customers achieve the exceptional results they seek. We are the business system that brings together their data, tasks and people so they can operate at their peak. And innovations like AI can be performance amplifiers that help businesses overcome real-world issues.”

The Day 1 Keynote address announced a series of strategic partnerships and performance-driving innovations, shared inspiring customer stories and discussed future plans.

Partnerships Unify Business Processes

Reflecting Acumatica’s dedication to evolving its partner ecosystem to better leverage new technologies and address changing customer needs, Case announced a strategic alliance with ADP, a global leader in payroll and human capital management solutions. The collaboration enables businesses to combine the power of Acumatica Cloud ERP with ADP’s industry-leading payroll, talent management and HR solutions to access an end-to-end solution that unifies core business processes, streamlines operations and enhances decision-making with real-time data.

Case also announced the expansion of Acumatica’s partnership with Shopify. Combining Shopify’s commerce capabilities with Acumatica’s comprehensive ERP platform allows merchants to seamlessly manage their entire business, from online storefront to backend operations, all in one ecosystem.

Strategic AI Enables Business Performance

Acumatica Chief Engineering Officer Miten Mehta joined Case onstage to dive deeper into how Acumatica enables customers to optimize performance through strategic technology investments. Mehta outlined the key technologies that enable business performance: data that is accurate, available, unified, secure and private; insights that help decision-makers forecast and plan; an open and extensible platform and intuitive user experience; workflow and automation to increase efficiency; and integration to streamline operations. Mehta emphasized that AI multiplies the effectiveness of all these performance enablers.

Through demos and presentations, the company shared its vision of delivering AI innovations in three key areas that will help organizations elevate performance:

  1. AI as an intelligent advisor that provides valuable insights, identifies issues and suggests actions, such as anomaly detection, which the company introduced in its latest product release.
  2. Automation in workflows like invoice categorization, where AI gets the job done with or without human intervention.
  3. Interactive assistance that helps users improve productivity through a human-like interface.

All three areas are instrumental in helping Acumatica deliver on its vision of developing an ERP system that can serve as a digital coworker for small and mid-sized businesses.

Cloud ERP Powers Real-World Growth and Impact

The Day 1 Keynote highlighted how customer needs shape product innovation, showcasing growing businesses leveraging future-ready technologies and data to make strategic decisions and achieve sustainable growth. One example is Acumatica’s Customer of the Year, Eastman Music Company. Founded in 1992, Eastman Music Company has grown from selling three violins to operating 14 companies worldwide that manufacture and distribute premium musical instruments. Using Acumatica Cloud ERP, the company has doubled revenues since 2019 while streamlining operations across its global manufacturing and distribution network.

“Enabling musicians to perform at their highest level is at the core of our business,” said Ralph Torres, vice president of operations at Eastman Music Company. “Acumatica helps us master the fundamentals of our operations, allowing us to deliver instruments with greater precision and reliability and ultimately support musicians’ performance worldwide.”

Case also reiterated Acumatica’s commitment to sustainability, a core pillar of the company’s AcumatiCares program, by naming Republic Services Impact Customer of the Year. Republic Services, a 42,000-employee waste management leader, has launched an ambitious initiative to transform plastics recycling with its new Polymer Center in Las Vegas. The company implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP in just two and a half months to manage this groundbreaking facility, which processes 80,000 tons of plastics annually.

“We needed a system that would help facilitate the acquisition and processing of materials, quality control and distribution,” said Joe Riconosciuto, director of materials marketing and recycling at Republic Services. “Acumatica’s ease of implementation, nimble nature and great user experience have been essential to managing the massive breadth and scale of recyclable plastics at our Polymer Center.”

Acumatica Summit 2026 Moves to Larger, State-of-the-Art Venue

Acumatica Summit 2025 gathered more than 3,500 customers, partners, employees, analysts and media for its fifth year in Las Vegas, marking a milestone as attendance has increased by 40% since the event’s first year in the city. Summit 2025 features over 100 breakout sessions, providing attendees valuable insights and hands-on learning opportunities.

Case concluded the Day 1 Keynote by announcing that Acumatica Summit 2026 will be held in Seattle, Wash. Acumatica customers Mid-States Companies, IOC Construction and Happy Valley Embrace Cloud ERP to Transform Operations and Accelerate Success

Bellevue, Wash. – January 13, 2025 — An increasing number of small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) are outgrowing their basic accounting software due to evolving operational needs. For many organizations, graduating to a comprehensive cloud ERP solution such as Acumatica is a pivotal step in overcoming growing pains, including managing complex financial processes, accessing data for better decision-making and driving operational efficiency for long-term success.

“An improving economic environment has resulted in more companies telling us they’ve maxed out on their ‘starter,’ or legacy accounting software and need something more from their business management solution,” said John Case, CEO of Acumatica. “To navigate the challenges of rapid expansion, these businesses are looking to move beyond static and disconnected data with technology that delivers real-time insights, seamless automation and the ability to scale without limits. Our cloud ERP platform is built specifically to meet those needs.”

Mid-States Companies, IOC Construction and Happy Valley are just three of the hundreds of organizations that have taken their business to the next level by transitioning to Acumatica Cloud ERP.

Mid-States Companies

In 2020, a powerful land hurricane hit several Midwest states, which resulted in $11.9 billion in damages, including 90,000 square miles of agricultural land rife with grain silos, hay storage facilities, barns and agricultural equipment. Although devastating, the destruction created new opportunities for construction firms. Among them was Mid-States Companies (Mid-States), a collection of firms offering design and engineering, millwright, building, material handling equipment, crane and trucking services to agriculture operations and other industries.

Operating on QuickBooks, Excel and legacy systems, executives struggled to keep pace with the 50% jump in revenue the company experienced in the year following the hurricane. The storm and subsequent growth highlighted the need for a better financial platform, and Mid-States implemented Acumatica Construction Edition to solve its growing pains. Acumatica empowered Mid-States to streamline financial consolidation, efficiently manage data, enhance customer-facing interactions and scale operations.

“Mid-States has only scratched the surface of what Acumatica can do,” said Andrew Pistorius, chief financial officer of Mid-States. “Acumatica as a system allows us to become a more process-based organization. Being processed-based will allow us to scale in a prudent, profitable way and ultimately beneficial to our staff and customers.”

IOC Construction

IOC Construction (IOC) experienced similar benefits after moving from QuickBooks to Acumatica. The most impactful result of implementing Acumatica Cloud ERP has been access to unified, comprehensive and timely business data. Access to data has revolutionized IOC’s visibility into projects, providing actionable insights into financial health, margins and pipeline performance. With automation tools and a unified platform, IOC has eliminated manual tasks, gone paperless and enhanced customer communication.

“The ability to pull data from Acumatica allows us to understand our customers’ journeys. Before, if sales or production were backlogged, we would assume we needed to hire more people. But that was a guess because we didn’t know,” said Joel Sisto, chief financial officer of IOC. “Good data is the ultimate differentiator to delivering top-tier service to our customers.”

Happy Valley

The desire for comprehensive and detailed business data also motivated Happy Valley, a full-service premium cannabis company in Massachusetts, to migrate from QuickBooks to Acumatica. With siloed information and no data-driven insights, Happy Valley could only track the essentials required to run the business and struggled to understand inventory levels and labor costs. Since migrating to Acumatica with the support of QuantumLeaf—an Acumatica value-added reseller and independent software vendor specializing in cannabis solutions—Happy Valley has gained access to granular data that will play a vital role in helping the company achieve its growth goals.

“Acumatica helps us grow by delivering granular, batch-specific cost awareness for our work in process, raw materials and finished good inventory,” said Sean Corrigan, vice president of operations for Happy Valley. “QuantumLeaf’s connected cannabis solution complements Acumatica, giving us the ability to track cannabis lots while driving our business forward in a compressing market and industry. Acumatica is the first platform we feel truly encompasses our business.”

As businesses like Mid-States, IOC and Happy Valley thrive with Acumatica, the company’s vibrant community of customers, partners and employees remains a driving force behind its ongoing innovation and shared success. In two weeks, the Acumatica Community will come together in Las Vegas to network and share insights on more customers reaping the benefits of a comprehensive business management solution.
